Leaving Everything

The story of God in each of us is unique. What prompts us to follow Jesus? Have we done what the original disciples did: leave everything and follow Him? Or are we like those who followed for a time and then turned back when the call got too hard, when Jesus asked too much?

The emotional turmoil of being so vulnerable is like a riptide in the ocean. I knew the potential was there, but the reality is so much more terrifying.
